Recently Ace Hardware introduced a new line of paint called Royal Finest. This new interior paint claims to be both eco-friendly and features stain resistant Scotchgard Protector.
This could be the perfect paint for high-traffic areas as well as for homes with young children and messy adults. Ace Royal Finest has also achieved GREEN WISE certification, which according to their website all paints bearing this certification..
..have been tested and certified by Coatings Research Group, Incorporated to meet environmentally determined performance standards established by CRGI’s ISO-accredited facility for specific product types and to meet or exceed the VOC requirements of LEED for most applications.

Royal Finest is available in flat, eggshell, satin and semi gloss finishes and can be custom mixed to an almost limitless color palette. $30 a gallon seems reasonable for a paint that offers both eco-friendly and stain resistant attributes. You should be able to find it at your local Ace Hardware today.

We used to have a 6′ step ladder and I got tired of storing it and our 22′ extension ladder, so we ended up getting a Werner multi-position ladder from Lowes (did a review of it on our site). The werner is great – two step ladders in one, plus it can be used as an extension ladder… it stores in the same space as a traditional 6′ step ladder. Only downside is it’s a little heavy.

Keep Fiberglass ladders away from heat and direct sunlight. UV rays will cause the fiberglass to weaken.
