American Architectural Timeline

This architectural timeline of American homes is one of the best examples we’ve seen of portraying house styles in context with each other. Each style is also sub-categorized into a larger grouping that is often termed a “movement”. Similarities and distinctions are made between styles within the same sub-category which can assist you in identifying the style as well as seeing how that style evolved.

  • Rosedale houses

Wonderful overall article! There are some homes in Rosedale of which architectural style I can connect with the Art & Crafts period. I simply love these picturesque houses full of tiny decorations. We have some outstanding fine piece of architectural works which really deserve attention but it still can`t bring back the magic of the beginning of the 20th century.
