Identifying and Removing Bugs from Your Home

Bugs (even the good ones) are a nuisance. They can be dangerous to you and your pets and they can damage/destroy your home (termites). Although knowing spiders are eating the other bugs in your house it's still unnverving to watch one scamper across your wall or ceiling and a few are extremely dangerous.

We mentioned some alternative solutions to getting rid of ants which are some of the hardest pests to remove. Here's a more comprehensive guide that will help you identify the bug and how to keep them out of your house.

I have a high number of bugs on my brick front porch and also on some of my stepping stones. At first glance I would have guessed that they were lice or something in that family. But they don't jump or scatter as fast. They are tiny( 1/8th of an inch long is the biggest) greyish black, long and sleek. They seem to prefer the bricks and stones. Wondering if anyone could help me figure out what I'm dealing with and if there's any health threat to my kids or dog? ( such as fleas or lice) Thanks for any input !
