Soundproof Drywall

The home crowd turned us onto QuietRock, which promises to cut sound to the equivalent of 8 layers of drywall. Obviously you won't have a wall that thick and if QuietRock can deliver on this statement then that's got to be one soundproof room.

One sheet does not equal 8. I've called them on this. There's no data that supports this, and that bothers me as a consumer.

Thanks for your feedback Harold. We are going by their tech/marketing stat sheet which claims an 8 to 1 acoustic equivalent.
