Air-Conditioners and Mold

Inspired by this post from Tom Kraeutler's Home Improvement Tips & Tricks, we've immediately checked our air-conditioner filter and upgraded to a pleated one with a higher MERV (Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value) rating.

   

Both portable and central air units are prone to attracting mold spores which grow in oxegyn rich and moist environments.
