    Roof Lines Revisited

    gable-roof-line.jpg

If you've never built a house and would like to follow along with someone else who is just as inexperienced as you, then check out this house blog. They are at the point of building their roof and have gone with a gable design.

This reminds us of our photo album of roof designs as well as the cupola designs that are truly becoming en vogue.

I just checked out the blog, and the house looks great, even before it's completely done. I wonder how everything turned out. Roof lines, especially those made of PVC, are a perfect solution for rotting fascias or leaking and unreliable gutters. It's best to have roof lines installed by trusted and reputable contractors, as they serve as a concrete foundation for a leak-proof and sturdy roof for our homes.

Love that gable! The pitch is great for keeping snow from bearing down on the roof. Now that we have the breadth of the internet advice, more of us can dive into the building process--provided that we take small careful steps, accompanied by expert oversight.

Great point Perry. Roof line designs are just as much about function as they are about aesthetics and its always smart to maintain an arms reach from expert advice.
