    diy-network-tape-measure.jpg

Now that we all know the secrets of using tape measures, it's time you add a quality one to your toolbox and the SS Gripper from Komelon courtesy of the DIY Network is one of the best around.

The 25' tape is stainless steel with double-sided printing and enclosed in a durable rubberized case. You can also represent your favorite home improvement network while on the job with the shiny DIY Network badge on the side.

There are two ways to win.

    1. Let us know in the comments below what your most indispensable tool is (besides the tape measure).

    2. Retweet this text on Twitter.
@Charles_Hudson I want to win this tape measure! http://tinyurl.com/ch-giveaway

We'll notify a random winner on Wednesday, January 28th.

    Good luck!

Most indispensable tool? Absolutely is the Makita Impact Driver. Hands down. You can reliably drive screws from any angle, without having to "lean into" the drill as with regular screw guns/drivers. Battery lasts f-o-r-e-v-e-r.

      Get this tool. Soon. Really.

The most indispensable tool would have to be a pencil. I use it for marking off locations for sawing, drilling, and nailing. It's also useful for all the calculations you need to make.

Imagine doing your next job without being able to mark any lines or points!

As silly as it may sounds, the flat screwdriver is my most indispensable tool. I use it to open things, pry things up and of course, turn screws. Is a pretty handy gadget!

I'd have to say the most indispensable tool is my hammer. I use it to beat any unwieldy projects into submission!

my level is probably the next reached for tool....I'm quite a perfectionist and must have things lined up. sadly, my level is faily pitiful, but it does still work, so why spend more money?
