New Shelter Magazine to Debut, Fresh Home

Reader's Digest is seemingly unconcerned about a vicious economy that's claimed a number of shelter titles in recent months. The company's newest title, Fresh Home, is set to hit newsstands on Feb. 27 and "will adopt and adapt much of its editorial content from a sibling title in Australia," according to an article published by Ad Age. The mag's focus will also be on thrifty, DIY projects that the company hopes will appeal to young homeowners.

   

We can't find a website yet for the new mag but we immediately thought of Freshome.com which is an unrelated but popular home/design blog. Looks like Readers Digest may have to wrangle a bit with 1800Flowers as they've got the freshhome.com domain.
