Put Some Thought Behind Your Bathroom Design

Bathroom design can be tricky, because they don't always fit in with the decor used in the rest of the house.

To pick your bathroom design, whether it is traditional, contemporary, modern, retro, floral, rustic, country, antique themed, nautical, classic, or creative, consider these tips adapted from HGTV:

First, determine who uses the bathroom?
If it's family, it's got to be functional.
If it's a visitor, it can be fun.
For overnight guests, it should welcoming.

Create a budget and leave a little wiggle room depending on how much work the bathroom needs.

Once you've determined who uses it and how much you want to spend, you can begin looking at ideas and finding designers.

You have some excellent ideas for bathrooms. That has been one of the recurring themes in my own life--looking for a way to make our bathrooms and our kitchen look really glorious, even though those rooms are much too small. One of the glories of the Internet, though, is that there is absolutely no dearth of ideas. Right now I have no idea of what I will ultimately do, but I keep hoping I will come up with something really slick.
