    Details below:

    Ultimate Home Builders

DIY Network is searching for homeowners, builders and contractors across the country to be featured in a dramatic new construction series.

DIY Network is searching for homeowners, builders and contractors to be featured in Ultimate Home Builders (wt), a dramatic new construction series set to air in 2011:

+ Builders and/or contractors who bring passion and enthusiasm to the job, who can articulate the various steps involved in building a house, and who can offer expert advice and insight into the entire process.

+ Homeowners - families, young couples, and empty nesters - who are willing to share their journey. From the personal stories behind each house, to the trials, tribulations, and triumphs that happen along the way, DIY Network viewers will hear and see what it is like to build a home from the homeowners' point-of-view.

    WHAT/WHY:
In each episode of Ultimate Home Builders (wt), a different dream house is built from start-to-finish by an A-team of experts. Viewers will get an inside look at how these homes are assembled, from the initial vision and breaking ground to the customized details and finishing touches that make each house unique and personalized, all culminating in the reveal of a spectacular new home. Throughout the process, DIY Network follows contractors and homeowners as they make decisions, face challenges, and work together to realize the original vision of the home. By the end of the episode, DIY Network unveils an incredible home.

    WHERE:
DIY Network is looking for a variety of homes, in a wide array of styles and price ranges, all across the United States.

    WHEN:
Construction should be ready to begin no later than September/October of 2010.

    HOW TO APPLY:

We own our home and would love to add on to it. We live on almost 8 acres and have a lovely country setting, but we would love to open up our home to be able to see the views but just aren't sure where or how to begin. We are both disabled and also need to open our floor plan more. I currently can't access the whole home or the outside with my wheel chair I have trouble in the bathrooms. and bedrooms which is a major inconvenience and as my disability will continue to debilitate me this is only going to get harder for me. We need help and fast and don't know who to turn to so please take us under consideration and help make my life more livable in our home it's hard to enjoy it when you can't fully access it. I don't even have a ramp to get in and out of our home so It's hard fo I have a pool at my house which needs to be moved here and an access installed to it so that I would be able to do my water theropy.with noone at my house my neighbor did damage to my property which makes it almost impossible for us to access my back yard, and the prosecutor has refused to help me. I have an hour long video of him doing damage and don't understand why she won't help, that is how this county works or doesn't work. So as you can see we have alot of minor things to be done which would be major to me. We would love it if you would just consider us.

If DIY really need a project they need to come to my house (double wide) and fix the unfinished mess i've made when I added hickory hardwood floors and ceramic tile, crappy berber carpet and bead board which leaves me unable to put covers over my sockets with a three yr old in the house (scary huh.... the three yr old not the sockets haha).
