Ask the Architect

ask architect washington dc Ask the Architect
We were recently introduced to a new website and blog called AsktheArchitect.org which is run by Washington D.C. based architect/contractor, Bruce Wentworth. He has some great profiles of house styles that are common in the D.C. area and does answer some interesting questions regarding how these older style homes can be remodeled.

His blog only has a few entries but we will be keeping an eye on it as he covers some great home improvement subjects from a professionals point of view.
Here’s a bit about Bruce.
Architect/Contractor/Author, Bruce Wentworth, AIA, is a long-term District resident who currently lives in one of the city’s Northwest neighborhoods. Over the course of a 25-year professional career, Wentworth has been the principal architect on over 100 historic and classic home restoration/remodels aimed at preserving the architectural character of the District’s many diverse neighborhoods.
