BKLYN Designs 2008 Rocks our World

We checked out BKLYN DESIGNS 2008 this weekend held in various locations throughout the vastly changing DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn. The exhibitors on display were top-notch and really showed the best of Brooklyn. It’s safe to say that the furniture craftsman in Brooklyn rival those of any in the world.

A few of our favorite designs were the bamboo chair from EcoSystems; the gorgeous walnut dining table from Eric Manigian; the stunning IPE table and bench from Produce Design.
The skill it takes to create and put into production an eco-friendly product is many times overlooked in the design world but not lost on us. We’re grateful that events like this exist and hope to see many of these designers establish themselves even more around the world.
