Don’t Skip the Primer

Our friends at Remodeling for Geeks has introduced us to one of their favorite new products, the Gripper Primer from Glidden. Priming your painting surface is an important step before painting as it is specifically formulated to seal unfinished or finished surfaces and make sure the topcoat of paint adheres to the surface. Without a primer you’ll often waste paint because you’ll need multiple coats.
Remodeling for Geeks loves this primer so much that it’s spurred them to take on more paint projects and they really feel its the only primer anyone would need because if it’s
“incredible gap filling and coverage.”

Check out their full review here. We’re already sold on it.

Hello! My utility bills are one half of what I paid last year, due to the new double-paned windows. The house is so QUIET too. Love your site here!
