Dremel Trio Review

No that’s not a microscope, it’s a first-look at the Dremel Trio.
This unique tool has almost as many functions as looks. Dremel has designed the Trio to work as a spiral jigsaw, edge sander and detail router. There are no other tools that can cut wood, drywall, acoustic and ceramic tile, plastic laminate, light-gauge sheet steel and aluminum. Plus you have the capability to sand and shape those surfaces.

To achieve all of those functions the Dremel Trio has a 90-degree pivoting handle for moving from horizontal to vertical surfaces with push of a button, a speed of 10,000 – 20,000 rpm, on-board dust extraction attachment, and as most Dremel tools a plethora of attachments for working on wood, metal, plastic or tile. The other attachments include a vacuum, compact depth guide, and a circle/edge guide.
We’ll expand on this review once we spend a bit more time with the Dremel Trio but here are more photos of the Dremel Trio and more features.

+ Start your cut wherever you want because Dremel Trio cutting bits let you make quick and easy plunge cuts anywhere in the workpiece
+ The pivoting handle on the Dremel Trio can be positioned straight-up or at a 90-degree angle for superior tool control and maximum comfort
+ The multi-purpose cutting bit included with the Dremel Trio lets you cut a variety of materials using only one bit
