One of the trends in green home design is building Passive Houses as shown in an article last week in the New York Times, Can We Build in a Brighter Shade of Green?.
Our friends at Jetson Green have been on top of this trend for awhile and have compiled their most popular passive home articles and they recommend checking in with the Passive House Institute.
What constitutes a passive house? It’s an energy-efficient home which relies on insulation, sunlight and an airtight exterior as the only means of maintaining the temperature of the home.
