Helping Haiti

The United States has come together in an effort to help the people of Haiti after a massive earthquake leveled much of the capital city of Port-au-Prince and surrounding areas.
Follow the latest news and relief efforts by following the Red Cross on Twitter. You can make a direct donation through their website or simply text “Haiti” to 90999 to donate $10 to the American Red Cross. Major carriers are NOT charging for texts sent to this.
The following is a list of other verified organizations accepting donations via text.
