Home Improvement Vacation

It may be tempting to getaway this weekend and hit the beach or relax in the mountains but many homeowners are taking advantage of the 3-day holiday weekend by staying at home and catching up on all of their DIY projects. Instead of putting money towards gas, lodging, or entertainment, they’re renting jackhammers, buying spackle, or investing time in demo and build projects.

Consider investing a little sweat equity in your home this weekend and you just may feel more relaxed and satisfied come Sunday evening.
These projects should keep you busy this weekend.
Build an Outdoor Shower
Installing Faux Stone Pavers
Build a Retaining Wall
Make a Cheap Compost Bin
Setup a Backyard Firepit or Chiminea
