iPad + Epicurious = Recipe Domination

It’s been hard to escape the Apple iPad this week as it seems to be one of these “game changer” types of tools. We have yet to get our hands on one but our friends at The Kitchn have a nice review that’s focused on how best to integrate the iPad into your own kitchen.
Epicurious has an amazing iPhone app which is now available for the iPad and The Kitchn can’t stop raving about it. If you’re lucky enough to grab an iPad you should give the Epicurious app a shot.

I am miles from the actual fire zone but all day I’ve been doing visualizations for rain. It sounds pathetic but it’s all I can do.

Other than that, please, please, please for the future, if you’re in a potential brush fire area, plant for fire defensiveness and when asked to evacuate, do so.

Nothing pathetic about visualization, in fact its the best thing we can all be doing. Continue to bless those in need.

This fire has saddnened me to no end. I have spent so much time in those mountains with my children. I really dread going back up there.
