The Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (K/BIS) ended yesterday and quite a few of our peers attended. We’ve rounded up our favorite tweets and blog posts from the show highlighting some innovative products that save time and money.
+ From the official K/BIS blog we found Spaberry. A two-person indoor/outdoor spa that can be plugged into any 110 volt outlet and comes in a variety of colors. For $4,999 you get go anywhere spa that can be “wrapped” with a variety of graphics to customize your spa.
+ Rheem’s tankless water heaters are now available in solar power in 80 and 119 gallon capacities. Or you can go with GE’s hybrid water heater that gathers heat from surrounding air and supposedly can cut 50% in your heating bill. Going green is becoming easier and more cost effective by the day.
+ The new LG lineup of refrigerators sounds interesting. Always improving a good product is a great thing.
+ Everyone seems to be talking about the Gelpro anti-fatigue kitchen floor mat. These will relieve pain from standing on hardwood floors, tile, and concrete and can be used throughout the house.
+ This clothes dryer has all the advantages of line drying without the worry of dust or outdoor particles infiltrating your new clothes. It takes 90 minutes to dry clothes and circulates air inside the unit but uses no heat.
+ Be on the lookout for linear drain systems in showers. They drain water across a horizontal drain instead of one location that the floor slopes into.
