Kitchen Trends To Avoid

There’s a reason why white kitchens are so popular – they’re classic and never seem to go out of style. ShelterPop pulled together five red-flag trends to avoid in your kitchen.
“Good Enough” Trend – According to Paul Anater, kitchen-bath designer and the editor of Kitchen and Residential Design, a cheap knock-off is just a recipe for hating something down the line. Avoid cheap shiny granites just because granite sells and opt for an icon or exact replica.
“Just Because It’s Pretty” Trend – Sure, we love art deco chandeliers, but above the kitchen table? Really? Just think about the dusting that will require.
