The Home Depot Unveils Improved iPhone & iPad App

The Internet experience is becoming increasingly mobile, thanks to a proliferation of browser-enabled smart phones and tablets like the iPad. Although Home Depot has had an iPhone and iPad app for some time, the company recently redeveloped the application to offer increased functionality and a host of new features.
You can now shop from your iPhone or iPad (this could get dangerous). An interactive toolbox includes eight tools that allow you to measure and calculate the supplies you need on-site, then save those measurements to reference them while you’re in-store.
Other new features include a measurement converter, nut & bolt finder, tape measure and drywall, flooring, insulation and interior paint calculators.

The Home Fixated has a detailed look at the app — we’re especially fond of the Heidi Montag comparison.
Now go forth and download!
