The Sears archives has some more great information about these homes which were sold through mail order from 1908 to 1940. They estimate 70k-75k of these homes were sold and included 447 different home styles.

    This is Great! Wow very stange in that I was just telling someone about the Sears Kit House. I grew up in one, many memories. I will be sure to pass this site on to my Dad, he will get a kick out of it!
