We love anything with wheels. From mowers to tractors to trucks, it’s all good. But we’ve never seen anything like the i-ROAD from Toyota. The i-ROAD is a revolutionary new concept in automotive technology that promises to reshape the commuting landscape.
Recently Toyota did a live test version of the i-ROAD in Toyota City, Japan. Despite some strange looks the test went well and people quickly adapted to how the i-ROAD handles and steers and of course how easy it is to park and charge.
I live in Los Angeles where driving is a nightmare and commutes are soul-crushing. Most job interviews always ask about the commute as candidates might love a job but they quit because the commute is so horrible. Parking is a whole other issue as you can spend an extra 20 minutes at your destination just circling the block looking for parking.
The Toyota i-ROAD would free up a lot of space in pockets of LA, not only for more vehicles but also less congestion on the streets. Since the i-ROAD is also an electric vehicle it will only contribute to better city air quality.
I love seeing auto manufacturers push the limits in terms of not only vehicle design but also technology which is truly driving every segment of our society.
