Benchmade Bugout and Bailout Updates From SHOT Show 2025

It’s always great to check-in with Benchmade at SHOT Show and this year was no different. They introduced a few upgraded knives at the show, and these were my favorites.

Benchmade has long been a go-to brand for knife enthusiasts, hunters, and outdoor adventurers. March Bugout Release

Launching on March 11, Benchmade introduces a refined Bugout featuring handles made of Redstone Richlite and Ash Gray Aluminum—marking the first time two distinct premium materials have been combined in a single handle design. These materials not only elevate the knife’s aesthetics but also improve its durability and comfort. Ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and EDC users alike, this Bugout is as versatile as it is stunning. MSRP: $400.

April Bugout Upgrades

Launching April 15, the Bugout lineup grows with the introduction of a Crater Blue Aluminum handle. Lightweight, durable, and sleek, this model is perfect for adventurers who want a reliable, high-performance blade. MSRP: $320.

The Mini Bugout also gets its first aluminum handle in a Woodland Green Anodized finish paired with a Crushed Silver Cerakote blade. This lightweight yet rugged design is perfect for users who value portability without compromising performance. MSRP: $310.

Gold Class Mini Barrage

For collectors and premium knife enthusiasts, the Gold Class Mini Barrage is a showstopper. With carbon handle scales and a DLC Battlewash CPM-S90V blade, this knife is as functional as it is gorgeous. Launching January 16, it’s the most affordable Gold Class knife Benchmade has ever released, making it a must-have for fans of the brand. MSRP: $500.

A fan favorite is the Benchmade Bailout which will now be offered with a burnt copper handle as well as special edition carbon fiber handles with blue and copper details and the S90V and M390 blades.

A new Benchmade Chef’s knife is also on the horizon for this year as an expansion to their popular kitchen cutlery.

Crooked River Updates

A fan favorite is also the burnt copper bolster/black canvas micarta handle on the Crooked River knife which is gorgeous.
