This weekend kicks off Kansas City’s annual Parade of Homes, a two-week tour that features 199 homes throughout the metropolitan area.
Homes tours such as the Parade of Homes are generally geared toward prospective buyers, but can also be a great source of inspiration for your own DIY and remodeling projects.
During these events, you’re most likely to see new construction, which means a lot of model homes that boast new techniques, fixtures, finishes and other components that you may want to replicate in your own home.
Plus, if you, like me, are a real estate addict, these tours are a great way to simply see what’s out there — and get a peek inside some amazing homes!
Do you have a Parade of Homes in your area? And if so, do you attend to get ideas for your own home?
