I literally wear these pants everyday. No seriously, almost everyday. I’ve got a couple Carhartt jackets and hats which I only use when it’s cold out and I was expecting these pants to be much heavier and bulkier as most work pants are, but these twill dungaree pants are heavy enough (9.25-ounce, 100% cotton ring-spun washed twill) to withstand any job around the house but they are also stylish enough to wear out.
The relaxed fit isn’t baggy but it’s spacious enough in the right places. I’ve got thick legs and I’m not a skinny jean guy but I also don’t like pants that I can swim in. These Carhartts are snug and really fit as a pant should. They also have plenty of room at the bottom to fit over your favorite work boot.
There are multiple pockets and a hammer loop but they are not obvious so you can wear these work pants anywhere without looking like a carpenter who just stepped off a job.
I’ve got them in Army green but they are also available in black, dark khaki, field khaki and coffee. I picked up another pair on a recent trip to the Mall of America at the Carhartt store. When I find something I like I end up buying multiples.
