Would You Try Edible Spray Paint?

File this one under the “What will they think of next?” category. And yes, you read the post title right: today we’re talking about edible spray paint.

Thanks to the team at Shelterrific for alerting us to this fascinating product, created by a food cooperative called The Deli Garage.
Food Finish is available in four colors: red, blue, gold and silver. But the bigger question here is what would you do with edible spray paint? Decorate a bowl of fruit and freak someone out by taking a big bite? You could also paint plates and utensils without worrying if a bit of paint comes off into the food.

It’s a cool concept, but there’s a mental barrier to overcome when it comes to eating painted food, despite the fact that The Deli Garage describes Food Finish as tasteless.
C&H readers, what’s your take on edible spray paint? And if you’re a fan, where would you use it in your home? We’d love to hear your ideas!
