None of these have info on block walls. I would be nice to see a comparison like the first link has with block included.

Have you seen this UK designer Mattias Megyeri’s stuff? He makes fences fun!
He’s also got this cool lace Beware of Dog sign I love–scroll to bottom of this page:

    Thanks for the comments!
Greg – Block walls aren’t typically categorized with “fences” as they are a much more solid structure but they do serve a similar purpose. Here’s a great article about why they are so prevalent in Phoenix and it may give you more of an idea of why they might work for you.
Cathy – Thanks for the Sweet Dreams link. They definitely take a forboding black fence and flip it on its head.

Thanks for the link. I’m in the Albuquerque area and most of the fences are wood. They are done as inexpensively as possible and don’t last more than 10 years. I’m in the situation now where I need to replace wood fencing on a 1/2 acre and I’m having a hard time figuring out the most private and cheapest option.

It’s fascinating how despite news of employment problems we hear every day, people still manage to secure good, decent jobs. Thanks to the Internet, people are now able to get employers who are willing to give jobs to people from the comfort of their homes. Of course, the employers benefit much from this kind of set-up as they do not have to pay for office expenses and other obligations, but it is also equally beneficial to the home-based employees as they can work without leaving their homes and be able to do their responsibilities at home.
