Seventh Generation’s Earth Day Contest

7th gen contest banner Seventh Generations Earth Day Contest
One of my favorite green brands, Seventh Generation is holding a Earth Day contest. The grand prize? A $5000 green home makeover!
The premise is that everyone knows a “mother nature” type, and Seventh Generation along with WAGES, a non-profit that helps women establish cleaning service cooperatives that use environmentally-safe methods to protect everyone’s health in the San Fransisco area, want to hear about the mother nature in your life — even if it’s you!

I don’t know about you, but I try every way I can to be greener in my choices, from organic food (especially for my offspring) to green cleaners to better, sustainable options for our home renovation projects. According to the website, the Grand Prize winner will receive:
*A $5,000 Green Home Makeover through realgoods.com
*A year’s supply of Seventh Generation Products for a healthier Planet Home — for both the winner and the nominated Mother Nature
*An Inspiration Prize of a $2,500 donation in the winner’s Mother Nature name to an organization working to make the world a safer place
And six finalists AND their nominated Mother Nature will receive:
*A year’s supply of Seventh Generation products for a healthier Planet Home
Here’s the link to the entry form. So if you know of an mother earth type in your live, or if you think you are one, I’d highly suggest throwing your name and story into the hat. The contest ends at midnight ET May 31st, so while you may have a little bit of time, it’ll be gone before you know it. So get writing and help make the world (and the life of your Mother Nature) a better, greener place to live!
